MPFA Core Fund Consultation Luncheon
The Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (“MPFA”) has developed a number of proposals relating to the introduction of a “core fund”, a new arrangement in the Mandatory Provident Fund (“MPF”) system. In order as MPF members, can have a clearer understanding of our rights and benefits under the proposed investment solutions, a luncheon was organized and had invited senior officers from MPFA to deliver a talk.
HKCNHCM was invited as on of the coordinators with Hong Kong Women Professionals & Entrepreneurs Association together with Hong Kong Federation of Women Lawyers, Association of Women Accountants Hong Kong, HK Women Doctors’ Association, and Zonta Club of Kowloon jointly organizing this captioned luncheon forum.
Our College Council Member, Ms. Samantha CHONG, represented the College attending the luncheon on 15th September 2014.
PHKAN Fellowship Network 2014
The Provisional Hong Kong Academy of Nursing will organize the PHKAN FELLOWSHIP NETWORK 2014 for all fellows. Throughout the sharing sessions and moderation, participants would broaden horizons by the success of two outstanding leaders who awarded with recognition in nursing.

Professional Seminar Series II - Advanced Nursing Management
Due to the prior situation of the critical moment in the society, HKCNHCM postponed the captioned event and now revoke the enrollment for College Fellows.
HKCNHCM and Hong Kong College of Health Service Executives (HKCHSE) will co-organize the Professional Seminar Series II to our Fellows, managerial nurses and people who interested on 24 Oct 2014. College has invited Ms Veronica (Ronnie) MORRIS to deliver a talk to share about her professional nursing management experiences of advanced nursing.

Visited Hunan Xiangya Hospital
Invited by Xiangya Hospital (湖南湘雅醫院), HKCNHCM Council Members formed a delegation representing the College to visit their Xiangya School of Medicine (湘雅醫學院) on 27th April 2014, and attended the opening ceremony of the Academic Forum hosted by the Hunan Nursing Association in the day afterward.
The visit was one of the academic activities for the centenial celebration of the School, and Council members had shared and exchanged the experiences on the development of specialty nursing in Hong Kong.
