IND 2015 Celebration - Call for Nursing Photo & Mini-movie Competition
Photo reveals history, and history tells our successors the essence of nursing that shall never change.
On behalf of the Organising Committee of IND2015 Celebration, there will be a photo booth set up at the dinner foyer, and hereby like to call for photos that represent the collective memory of nursing. To view from the perspectives of others is always a force to change. We cordially invite submission of mini-movies from your hospital / institute for the mini-movie competition, which is one of the celebration series of IND2015. The details of the microfilm competition are as follows:
PHKAN Film Show 2014
The PHKAN Charity Film Show was hosted on 18 September 2014 at Jockey Club Auditorium of Hong Kong Polytechnic University. College President, as the Chair of PHKAN Fund Raising Committee, announced the Show had received over HKD300,000 donations for the community work of PHKAN, College Fellows economically and physically made contributions to the Show and shared a good film to their relatives afterward with a good reflection.
MPFA Core Fund Consultation Luncheon
The Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (“MPFA”) has developed a number of proposals relating to the introduction of a “core fund”, a new arrangement in the Mandatory Provident Fund (“MPF”) system. In order as MPF members, can have a clearer understanding of our rights and benefits under the proposed investment solutions, a luncheon was organized and had invited senior officers from MPFA to deliver a talk.
HKCNHCM was invited as on of the coordinators with Hong Kong Women Professionals & Entrepreneurs Association together with Hong Kong Federation of Women Lawyers, Association of Women Accountants Hong Kong, HK Women Doctors’ Association, and Zonta Club of Kowloon jointly organizing this captioned luncheon forum.
Our College Council Member, Ms. Samantha CHONG, represented the College attending the luncheon on 15th September 2014.
PHKAN 3rd Annual General Meeting
The Provisional Hong Kong Academy of Nursing hosted their 3rd Annual General Meeting on 20 September 2014 at Princess Margaret Hospital. College President and several College Fellows attended the AGM and shared the vision of the PHKAN's development to the Academy.
PHKAN Fellowship Network 2014
The Provisional Hong Kong Academy of Nursing will organize the PHKAN FELLOWSHIP NETWORK 2014 for all fellows. Throughout the sharing sessions and moderation, participants would broaden horizons by the success of two outstanding leaders who awarded with recognition in nursing.
